Yam's Story

Growing up with entrepreneurial parents, Yam frequently found himself assisting them with technical tasks, witnessing firsthand the struggles they faced with technology. These experiences deeply influenced his appreciation for the immense potential AI has in simplifying and enhancing tech-related workflows and improving business processes.

As a developer who begins each day discovering new AI features and products, Yam consistently sees the substantial benefits AI brings to the developer community—benefits that are currently lacking in other industries. Recognizing the significant positive impact AI can have on individuals and the broader economy inspired him to found Nopends.

His vision is to empower more people to leverage AI in their work, enabling them to build SaaS platforms, immersive gaming experiences, online stores, and LMS sites with unprecedented ease and speed. Ultimately, Yam's goal with Nopends is to democratize access to powerful AI-driven capabilities, enabling everyone to create more value for their communities and the world.

Theo's Story

Growing up in a changing environment moving from France to Israel at the age of 9, Theo always had to adapt and find his way through inter-personal skills, hard work, drive and ambition, and rational thinking to lead and show his strengths.

His military service in a commando unit while leading multi-million dollars projects with risk to the lives of his men led him to grow his leadership skills and managing capabilities under high pressure and risk at a much faster rate. Theo believes and has felt through his career and the projects he's led that he has always been standing out in his leadership and strategical large thinking compared to his peers, and today he believes as a founder, he can and should make an impact through those skills.

Why We Work Together

Yam and Theo decided to work together not only because they've been friends for a long time since the military but also because they believe they complement each other in a very effective way. Both founders put a significant emphasis on making products that have social value and will do good in this world in the long term.

Their partnership represents an optimal balance between top-tier technology and AI expertise (Yam) and project management and strategic experience (Theo):

• Yam is a young AI developer with an "open source obsession" that is evident in his GitHub contributions. He sees the world as it will be in the future and builds products in the context of that vision, while leveraging the exponential growth potential between software, AI models, agents, and emerging open-source technologies. He believes in the magic of "CAW" - the combination of chat, agents, and workflow.

• Theo brings a strategic, broad perspective and extensive experience managing complex operational projects in the military for over ten years. His ability to make sharp decisions and prioritize effectively, even under high-stakes conditions, is invaluable. His experience has taught him to persevere through challenges and balance consistency with efficiency.

Together, Theo's perspective and experience combined with Yam's technological knowledge and passion creates a founding team positioned to succeed through any challenge by adapting and persevering.
